Dial Down Distractions...
Limiting distraction is something we all have the power to do. Finding a quiet space and switching off your phone so you are not interrupted with notifications or calls is a great place to start.

Allow Yourself to be Fully Present...
Making ourselves more aware of our body and how it is grounded where we sit, stand or lay is key to being more present. It is greatly beneficial to pick a point of focus. A spot on the wall, a stationary object or a key word are great examples. Focusing on your breath is an effective way to bring yourself to the present moment and shut out all of the ‘Noise’.

Close Your Eyes & Visualise...
It is perfectly normal for your mind to wonder during this practice. You have a meeting coming up or the kids need to be collected from school, maybe you have a project deadline to meet. Relax! It’s ok. Whenever this happens, it is important to recognise it, say “Hello” and “Goodbye” to it and bring your attention back to your current practice without being hard on yourself. You’ve got this!
